Lot 10 is one of the strongest bulls we have ever offered on sale and is really something special. He is out of an exceptional motherline with LAR05-350 onto a LAR05-23 daughter onto an NPT91-40 daughter. That is what we call genetic stacking. His mother RPE14-21 is one of our favourite cows, we have used 2 of her sons in the herd with the first being RPE19-125, sold to Johan Goosen in 2022 and RPE20-22. RPE20-22's calves are distinct and we can spot them from a distance, with his good confirmation, good heads and black points every time. He seems to have that all important prepotancy that we long for in a stud bull. On father's side he has a CSW01-14 son out of a very fertile AG92-46 daughter. RPE20-22’s calves are small at birth but grow vigorously with his birth direct index of 117, wean maternal of 105, wean direct of 98 and after wean index of 102. RPE20-22 has exceptional balance with a proper wedge shape from front to back, with a deep and wide chest. His hormonal balance is perfect with great "verdonkering", that we look for in a bull. He has a neat underline, perfectly straight testes, good claws, long tail, broad over his back and the best head of any bull on the sale. He doesn't carry the double muscling gene but we can see in his calves that he adds muscling with strong eye muscle development and good hindquarters. A bull for the genetic connoisseur.
