This Bonsmara stud was originally based in Ashburton, where it faced heavy parasite pressure including redwater, heartwater, and gallsickness. Through a dedicated health program and with the guidance of Dr. Niall Watkins, the herd developed strong natural immunity. Since relocating to Underberg, the stud has had no redwater or gallsick cases, despite ongoing challenges in the commercial herd – a testament to its disease resilience.

We continue to invest in top genetics from leading breeders across the country. The quality of this breeding program is already showing, reflecting early fertility, strong maternal lines, and excellent production potential.
