Itoshigenami TF 148 was a foundation  bull  of the Blackmore herd. His daughters exhibited great heart girth which made the females robust with a good constitution. They produced above average milk. The carcasses TF148 sired, had a larger than average eye muscle with very good marbling.

Mating BYWFH0224 Kinusurukiku over a TF 148 cow, will maintain size (H224 is the heaviest 100% Tajima bull we have bred weighing over 900kg), increase eye muscle size (GEBV EMA +9.2) and marbling (GEBV MS +1.9 is Blackmore’s  highest rated living bull).

We have bred a TF147 son BYWFH0017 Kikuzakura that genomically out rates TF147 (His dam is a TF151 daughter of our famous Aizakura U100)              Genomically BYWFH0017 (GEBV: EMA -5.1, 93%; HCW =31.4, 90%; MS +0.2, 94%) is easily the highest rated animal we have bred to increase carcass weight. This breeding will leave beautiful big framed cattle.
